Why is this Website here? This website is not a social media outlet like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or X. It is for us and the public to view and no login is required. Its purpose is to centralize general club information and provide access to information not readily available simply and in one place. https://www.facebook.com/wapitibowclub is our current social media presence. If members (including "younger" members) want to post to their favorite social media please be respectful of other club members values and privacy.
How do I shoot at the Archery Range? When you choose membership ( join and sign waiver at E-Z Pawn or Swains General Store) you will receive an access code to the range gate and the clubhouse. For club sponsored events the gate will be open during the event hours and you can park and proceed to registration. Camping is available at most multi-day events.
Are guests allowed? At the clubs discretion guests are allowed only one time and then membership is encouraged. A release form must be filled out for yours and the clubs safety and protection while you are anywhere on the property. While on site guests must always be accompanied by a member in good standing.
Who maintains the property? The property and events are supported by members. Please keep our ranges clean and functional. Report problems. See the calendar for Special Events, Meetings and Organized Work Parties. Try to pitch in a little each time you visit our Archery range.
What can I shoot at the ranges? Only Compound, Recurve and Longbows are allowed. Broadheads are only allowed in the sandpit on the flat range and not on any other targets on the property. Shooting Crossbows are not allowed anywhere on the property.
What is the best way to communicate with the club or club officers? If you send an email inquiry to wapitibowmen@gmail.com it will be forwarded to the appropriate officer(s). Guarding our digital privacy is especially important these days. Business meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 7pm except for hunting season (September and December). Always consult the club events calendar or Facebook page for updates.
The Wapiti Bowmen archery club is a non-profit club located on the Northern Olympic Peninsula that consists of members who love the sport of archery and teaching others the joys of stick and string.
Our Club is a family oriented club that has been dedicated to the promotion of the sport of archery. Our goal is to provide a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for all archers regardless of age, equipment or skill level. Wapiti Bowmen was founded in 1964. We are located on 20 wooded acres in Port Angeles, WA. We have 28 field targets at ranges from 10 to 80 yards with realistic uphill, downhill, and level shooting conditions. Also available is a heated 20 yard indoor range and clubhouse, and an outdoor practice butt at ranges from 10 to 70 yards and a broadhead sandpit.

Although under normal circumstances you should not intentionally shut down your computer this way... in a legitimate emergency you only have this option if you don't know how to shut down your computer when it is unresponsive. An experienced user can stop the offending processes using the Task Manager. You do not want to shut down your computer when a known operating system update is in progress. If in doubt call your technical support person.
